LAHORE: Pakistan Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday ordered to ensure foolproof security of trains and railway stations.
The minister was presiding over a meeting held here to review upgradation and re-construction of railway stations. He said those companies would be provided more opportunities which would complete work in time by ensuring quality work.
He directed the project director upgradation of railway stations to present monthly report about the speed of work by visiting railway stations where work is underway. Pakistan Railway chief executive officer Javaid Anwar, Advisor Railways Anjum Pervaiz, Member Finance Ghulam Mustafa, Additional General Manager Infrastructure Hummaiyun Rasheed and other senior officers attended the meeting.
